  • How do I sign up? Click any of the application buttons on this page that say "APPLY HERE" or "JOIN THE RETREAT" and apply. We intend to cultivate a respectful high level opportunity for you and want to make sure each person that applies is hand-selected.
  • What do I need to pack? We'll have beach and bath towels, hair dryers, and yoga mats among other essentials. However, bathroom toiletries, bathing suit, positive vibes sunscreen, snacks, supplements, and a warm jacket are highly recommended.
  • How far is the retreat from the airport? Oceanside Pier (just down the street from the retreat) is about 40 miles away from San Diego International Airport. It is very important that you plan you time accordingly with the evening rush hour traffic, if arriving from the airport or driving into town that day.
  • What is the parking situation? There is plenty of parking available along the street and backup spots are available on the property if need be upon check in.
  • What if I need alternative meal options? We'll know everything. we need to, prior to your arrival. You are able. to share details of your requested needs during the application process, our interview call, and continuous updates leading up to the retreat by email. Still have additional questions, comments, or concerns? Feel free to email us at anytime at mermaidmethodofficial@gmail.com
  • What do I need to do to prepare? Prior VIP guests of the retreat came prepared, having read "The Inner Work" by The Yoga Couple. This will be the fully tangible celebration to M3 as a true catalyst to individual and worldly growth. We'll bring the hype and happy vibes! All we request is that you bring an open mind and heart that can serve as a light in our very intimate group.

The Ripple effect | Part 2

The group will meet in Chula Vista, CA Friday, October 25th at 8am, with the plan to return to our same meeting spot on Sunday evening, October 27, 2024.

The journey to Maneadero, Mexico, the site of our construction project, is a safe 2.5-hour drive from the border on well-maintained roads. For your convenience, we will assist in coordinating carpools.

Here you can place an explanation or answer to the question.

Mark your calendars! This weekend promises not just a physical journey but an emotional and impactful one, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those we touch.

$333 donation covers all materials and accomodations for the weekend, including transportation to and from the build across the border. Join us on this extraordinary weekend - where we build hope, transform lives, and create a future filled with promise. Your presence and contribution can make all the difference.

Donation minimum to join the house build is $333 USD. You are welcome to donate a separate amount, in support of the build, with the direct link to our fundraising page in the button below.

Bajabound Builds is A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT, EIN 33-0775616. YOUR GIFT IS TAX DEDUCTIBLE TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. CONSULT WITH YOUR TAX ADVISER OR THE IRS TO DETERMINE WHETHER YOUR CONTRIBUTION IS DEDUCTIBLE.

  • So you've signed up for the house build. Now what? Your group leader (Breanna) will emailed you the link as the dates get close (about 1 month out). If you have not heard back yet from the host either after October 1st or within 48 hours of signing up (October 1-25), email mermaidmethodofficial@gmail.com and we'll make sure you receive everything you need to prepare for the build.
  • What should I pack? Is special clothing required? Your passport is a MUST! Work clothes are highly recommended. Paint is permanent and dirt/mud is inevitable to avoid, so please bring clothes you are willing to get dirty.
  • How far is the build from the border? The drive is about 2.5 hours, going south along the coast. There are three toll stops in between that provide safe areas for us to use the restroom and grab snacks on our route.
  • How long is the border wait? Prepare for ~2 hours on average in the "Ready Lanes" or "All Traffic Lanes." A good recommendation is finding a group together of Sentri/Global Entry drivers who are able to all go across the border together. Not everyone has this pass available and will need to prepare for a longer border wait time.
  • Do I need international travel insurance? Baja Bound Ministries and its Mexico colleague, Rumbo Al Valle de la LIBERTAD, strongly urges volunteers to obtain international insurance coverage for their trip to Mexico. The importance of such coverage cannot be understated as Baja Bound Ministries and its Mexico colleague, Rumbo Al Valle de la LIBERTAD, will not cover such expenses and all volunteers are asked to waive any claim against Baja Bound Ministries and its Mexico colleague, Rumbo Al Valle de la LIBERTAD, should they be injured or suffer other losses.

Coverage is available for as little as $3.30 per person, per day and will normally cover:
    • Medical emergencies
    • Emergency extraction
    • Personal liability
    • Lost or damaged luggage
    • Travel disruptions such as flight cancellations
    • Loss of valuable items
    • Other unforeseen events
    • For more information on coverage ask your Baja Bound representation.
